Hi,I have noticed that the objects in the ILMSDB are not being purged when the users are deleted from the database. I have 15 users and about 500 objcets, most of which are rule objects. However, I had assumed that these objects would be cleared when the users that they apply to were deleted. This doesn't seem to be the case. How do I get rid of all of these objects?Thanks,Eric

From a database point of view objects never get deleted from the physical table -- they do get logically deleted. This gives you tremendous auditing capabilities.So first let's ensure that our terms mean the same thing.How are you getting your total number of objects? David,Thanks for the reply. By total number of objects, I mean that number of objects that are imported on an import and sync run via the ILM MA.The objects I am expecting to be deleted are Expected Rule Entry Objects. When I delete the users, these objects remain.Thanks,Eric

Expected Rule Entry (ERE) objects currently are not deleted when their associated parent object is removed from the system. Hence you will gradually see an accumulation of these ERE objects over time. From a maintenance standpoint you can write tools against the ILM "2" web service to periodically detect and delete the ERE objects once they are not needed.Bobby GillProgram Manager - ILM

By currently, I think Bobby means in RC0. Thanks for the responses, those resources will be helpful. I am still wondering about this behavior, though. Is this the way the product was intended to behave, or is this an issue that was discovered? What is the benefit of keeping these objects if the associated identites are gone?Thanks,Eric
